At 3 1/2 months already, my little Chloe is growing up way too fast! It is already time for her to start eating solids and I just can't believe it! The only plus side will be if this helps her sleep more soundly through the night :).

Last night, I made my Walmart trip and picked up some Rice Cereal. At about 8:00 in the evening, we set her bouncer seat on the kitchen table, prepared a tiny bowl of cereal with formula, and strapped her in. With bib on, camera and spoon in hand, we were set for my little girl's first taste.



I think she knew something exciting was about to happen.

And in we went.

Unsure of what to do at first, the food just kind of sat on her tongue and lips. But as soon as she got that first bit down, feeding frenzy began!

She picked up on the technique immediately and finished her first bowl of cereal in record time! But she wasn't done. No, no, this stuff was way too good and she wanted MORE! I made a second bowl and she gobbled that down too! I almost made a third, but then we decided that we didn't want her to throw up. After a moment of disappointment, she gave in to the satisfaction of having a happy tummy :).
